Arusha National Park - Hippos, Colobus Monkeys & Crater Views

Arusha National park covers Mount Meru, prominent volcano with an all but varied with spectacular landscapes in three district areas. In Arusha National Park we can see buffalo, giraffe, zebra, hippo, waterbuck, bushbuck, black & white colobus monkey, vervet monkey, blue monkey, baboons and a waterfall.

The Arusha National park is the only park in Northern Tanzania where you may experience a walking safari. When you want to add this fantastic experience to your Tanzanian adventures than we can offer you a light trekking with a ranger. You will walk in the tropical forest and watch animals outside the car. It is also possible – and very amazing – that you will be able to walk up to the crater Meru which is locater right in de the park. The crater Meru is the 2^nd highest peak of Tanzania and the 5^th highest peak of Africa.
