Lake Manyara – a big day out in a small gem

Lake Manyara is famous for:

Tree-climbing lions (yes, they really do!)
Large herds of elephants
Hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, and known as the home of the babcoons
Hundreds of bird species (for example; African Spoonbill, Grey Crowned Crane, Pelicans, different kinds of Eagles, etc). We can see the flamingos on the lake shore in the period November until May.
