The Culture of Tanzania
Tanzanian culture is very accessible. The people are known to be among the friendliest in Africa . Tanzanian people are eager to help and very polite. They love children and enjoy a friendly chat with tourists. You will find that they are very interested to know where you come from, what you are daily life is like and what is you background is. Public displays of affection between men and women are considered inappropriate. When touring the country, you can speak English with your guide and the Tanzanian people who work in the accommodations . however, the majority speak only Swahili. It will be highly appreciated if you can speak a little Swahili ,so learning a few word is worth the effort. Its not’s that hard.

Some Tanzania Tribe
Maasai culture is centred around the belief that God (called Engai, or Enkai, in the tribe’s Maa language) created cattle especially for them, and they are the custodians of all the world’s cattle. For Maasai, life revolves around amassing and grazing large herds of cows (and to a lesser extent, goats).
The Hadzabe, a hunter-gatherer tribe, live close to the shores of Lake Eyasi, as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe who are pastoralists. Visits to these tribes are possible on half day or full day excursions which would include a visit to their homesteads, learning about their way of life, medicinal plants, and even animal tracking with bows and arrows with the Hadzabe hunters.
