Overview

Visit four of Tanzania’s best safari destinations on tour, each with their own unique twist! Ngorongoro is our best to witness the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion and leopard); Tarangire is home to huge numbers of elephants and teeming with a wide variety of birds, and Lake Manyara is a perfect place to see the entertaining baboons and the tree-climbing lions. Unfortunately, many of these majestic animals are threatened or endangered, so an opportunity to see them in their natural habitat and learn about conservation efforts is something not to be missed.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Arrive Kilimanjaro airport ex ET 815 at 1230hrs. After clearing customs,look for your Allengeti Adventures driver. He will be a waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it, and transfer to planet lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire national park

After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park, with your naturalist guide. Tarangire third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, impala, Tarangire is known as home of elephants. Overnight at Marera lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park

Head out after breakfast, you will drive via to Ngorongoro conservation areas, you will have chance to see Ngorongoro crater on the way to Serengeti. You will see a lot of animals on way , and memorial stone for Bernard and Michael Grizmek , Olduvai gorge also known as the “Cradle of mankind) its one of the most important and controversial Paleolithic finds. On arrive at Serengeti you will have evening game drive .Overnight at Burudika camp.

Day 4: Serengeti

Early morning game drive provided with breakfast hamper through the Serengeti plains. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds and up to ten thousand elephants. Overnight at Burudika camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro-crater

Day 6: Lake Manyara (Safari or Cultural tour), Arusha or Kilimanjaro & Departure

Morning game drive safari in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known as the home of big troops of baboon, elephants, zebras, giraffe, hippos, antelopes and more than 400 species of birds.

Alternative (instead of game drive safari in Manyara): After breakfast, we drive to the nearby Mto wa mbu area (4+ miles from Manyara Park’s gate) to do an

approximately two hour cultural tour which will include visiting banana or rice plantations as well as a walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants.

We will drive back to Arusha Airport your evening/night flight back home.

Activities: Game drives or Cultural Unlimited mileage on the safari.
